The only negative thing I can say about Charles Martin's "When Crickets Cry" is that I wish I was still discovering it for the first time. This book was so captivating that I found myself wanting. When Crickets Cry grabs you from page one and doesn't let go until the last page. The characters are well developed and so very real. There is a bit of a mystery involved which is part of the story. I will recommend this book to my book group for discussion. Anna R.5/5(3).
